New Mexico Museum of Art - Vladem Contemporary, Santa Fe, NM
March 26 through June 28, 2026
Proposed Installation Models -
This work is a personal meditation on the tension between joy and sorrow, loss and renewal. Inspired by the Tibetan concept of the Bardo—the liminal space between death and rebirth—it evokes the fleeting beauty of virga, rain that never reaches the earth, and the grounding presence of malpais, ancient volcanic fields.
The ‘pink cloud’ is a subtle nod to the clarity and vulnerability found in recovery.
Materials: organza, thread, copper wire, felt, gold metal leaf, acrylic paint
Dimensions are variable - Vladem Window Box dimentions: 10 x 9 x 5 feet
