Perusing my marks on paper...
I make marks on paper that I've collected from around the world. These examples were made using Sumi ink, Acrylic ink, beeswax, and ink that I brew myself sourced from local walnuts. I then layer this paper in collage by gluing or stitching it together.

Tearing Japanese Paper
I brush water along a straight edge and then tear the paper instead of cutting it. This creates a nice feathered edge. This is possible because of the long fibers that make up the paper.
